Leader’s training and improvers course

This course is customised for the climber who wants a greater depth of knowledge in all the skills of being a leader of a rock climb where leader placed protection is required. We will operate on single pitch and multi-pitch routes.
The course covers a wealth of skills, and promotes the safety of both leader and second climbers to complete a climb, and highlight any hidden dangers that may occur. The course is run in a relaxed atmosphere where all opportunities are given for the course member to participate in all topics covered

The aim of the course is to empower the course member with a wealth of knowledge that he/she was first unaware, and therefore making him/her a much more improved leader.

We will also make every effort to enhance a greater sense of safety, and an understanding of the crag environment where we have all chosen to have our fun.

A great week of climbing from top rope routes to multi pitch. Mark did a great job of teaching me all those new techniques and the 5 days flew away. 30+ routes climbed all from routes graded 4+ to 6b+ For a first time climbing outdoors this choice could not be bettered. I will be back for more!
